In Steinbach, Manitoba the Calder House offers it’s guests a blissful nights sleep with wholesome, natural local foods, a healing and nurturing environment and serves as the perfect location to relax and rejuvenate.
We offer on-site spa services, including Reiki, Hot Stone Massages, and Quantum Touch. Reiki is a technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen life force energy flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. Quantum–Touch® is a method of natural healing that works with the Life Force Energy of the body to promote optimal wellness.
All of the space on our second floor guest area has been inspired by the five Feng Shui elements: Fire, Metal, Water, Wood and Earth. The rooms are decorated with colours and furnishings to reflect these elements. The hallway represents the whole of the earth where all of the elements are united. The earth element has solidity and permanence to it, and the element of earth represents stability and home. |

Normal check–out is 11:00 a.m. Please discuss any check–out expected to be later than 11:00 a.m. to confirm additional charges, baggage storage, etc |
Cancellation Policy: |
For reservations of one or two nights, any cancellation must be received 48 hours prior to arrival date. Those who do not cancel with this notice will be subject to a one–night charge at full room rate. For reservations of three nights and longer, seven days’ notice is required. In the event of early departure (incomplete stay) full room rates will be charged for portion of the reservation remaining. If a cancellation occurs for any reason without sufficient notice, we will try our best to fill the reservation to avoid charging a cancellation fee.
