Be pampered in our peaceful country setting just outside Winnipeg in St. Andrews, Manitoba. Cloverdale Bed & Breakfast and Craft School is situated in a handsome, handmade log home, in the midst of the country, offering rustic elegance and 3 tasteful, comfortable guest rooms.
Besides it's guest rooms, the main house provides a unique setting for private events such as formal dinner parties, small weddings receptions, or corporate planning seminars and retreats. A wedding venue can include the main house, gardens, orchard, and an open-air building. Full event planning is available.
The vision of Cloverdale Craft School is to offer a place where one can experience, learn, appreciate, and develop skills in a supportive environment. Individual expression and social interaction as part of a community are encouraged through music, art, crafts, gardening, cooking and dance.
Basic blacksmithing is an integral course at Cloverdale, teaching students the fundamental skills in producing personal, metal art pieces. You will learn hammer control, fire building, metal temperature control & colour recognition, along with other basic necessities of the craft.
A family-styled breakfast of fresh fruit and baked goods, followed by an entrée is served each morning. Conversation ranging from the culture and attractions of the area to stories about the family construction of the log house is also on the menu!
We are open year round. A room cozy guest cottage is also available June through October.
