The focus at our small and elegant inn is to provide a harmonious balance between delicious indulgence, luxury, warm hospitality and true comfort that epitomizes today's bed breakfast experience. Nestled on the "Quietside" of Mount Desert Island, The Kingsleigh Inn Bed & Breakfast is a turreted Queen Anne Victorian built in 1904. Located in the center of town and surrounded by Acadia National Park, the shops, restaurants, and the marina are just steps away from the inn.

The Kingsleigh Inn has eight guest rooms, many with harbor views, some with balconies and all with ceiling fans and private baths. Each is tastefully decorated with its own distinct personality, charm and comfort. Colorful and coordinating wall coverings, window treatments and luxurious bedding all blend seamlessly with period furnishings and many thoughtful touches to make you feel welcome and relaxed.

Each guest room has robes, slippers, Port wine and hand made chocolates from your innkeepers!

Served between 8-9am, the first 2 courses are placed on a buffet to be enjoyed at your leisure offering homemade granola, yogurt, fresh melon and muffins. We then serve a gourmet fruit course followed by a daily entree. Guests might enjoy a Spiced Poached Pear served with homemade Purple Basil Pear Sorbet followed by our signature entree, Chocolate Banana Stuffed French Toast with Raspberry Coulis and a Dark Chocolate Drizzle.

Check-in is from 3:30 to 6:30 pm. Please call if you intend to arrive later.
Check Out Policy:
Check-out time is 11:00 am.
Cancellation Policy:
Deposits will be refunded ($30 processing fee per room) if cancellation is received 21 days prior to the scheduled date of arrival. Cancellations within 21 days of arrival may not be refunded unless the room can be re-booked. Should guests arrive late or depart earlier than the contracted reservation, they are responsible for the entire reservation unless the room can be re -booked .
