The focus at Kingsleigh Inn Bed & Breakfast in Southwest Harbor, Maine is to provide a harmonious balance between delicious indulgence, luxury, warm hospitality and true comfort epitomizing today's bed breakfast experience. Nestled on the "Quietside" of Mount Desert Island, the inn is a turreted Queen Anne Victorian built in 1904. Located in the center of town and surrounded by Acadia National Park with shops, restaurants, and the marina are just steps away.
Kingsleigh Inn has eight guest rooms, many with harbor views, some with private decks and all with individually controlled A/C and heat, ceiling fans and private baths. Each is tastefully decorated with its own distinct personality, charm and comfort. Colorful coordinating wall coverings, window treatments and luxurious bedding all blend seamlessly with period furnishings and many thoughtful touches to make you feel welcome and relaxed. Additional room amenities include fresh flowers, comfy robes & slippers, port wine and hand made "Sweet Dreams" chocolates.
At Kingsleigh Inn your day begins with our special blend coffee, fresh ground espresso and assorted hot teas and cocoas. A just-baked muffin, croissant, cinnamon roll or fruit and nut breakfast bread will also be on the beverage buffet served in our comfortable lounge with fireplace. Our 3 course breakfast can be enjoyed in our formal dining room or on our wrap-around porch and consists of a fresh fruit course with selection of juices followed by a choice of a sweet or savory hot entree and our famous "last bite" desserts - a perfect way to start the day!
Upon returning to the Inn guests enjoy a fresh baked treat served in the lounge at our all-day beverage buffet and prior to dinner, we offer a wine and a light snack. Our guest fridge is stocked with complimentary sodas and bottled water. Other Inn amenities include WIFI, books, walking sticks, hiking guides, DVDs, games and puzzles. Starting at 7:30 a light buffet to be enjoyed at your leisure offering espresso, coffee, assorted teas and juice and one or more of the following: homemade granola & yogurt, fresh baked muffins or croissants or cinnamon buns and toasting breads.

Cancellation Policy: |
Deposits will be refunded ($30 processing fee per room) if cancellation is received 21 days prior to the scheduled date of arrival. Cancellations within 21 days of arrival may not be refunded unless the room can be re-booked. Should guests arrive late or depart earlier than the contracted reservation, they are responsible for the entire reservation unless the room can be re-booked. |
