The Inn at Southwest Bed & Breakfast is an 1884 Victorian B&B overlooking the serene waters of Southwest Harbor, Maine, near Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, Mt. Desert Island, and so much more. Near the center of town, the Inn at Southwest Bed and Breakfast offers comfortable yet elegant lodging and is within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and the marina. Southwest Harbor is home to several world renowned boat builders, including Hinckley and Morris Yachts.
We are delighted to help guests discover the 'quiet-side' of Mt. Desert Island. Beautiful Acadia National Park is five minutes from our doorstep, offering spectacular coastlines, miles of hiking and biking trails, lakes and ocean to canoe and kayak, and countless photo opportunities. Cancellation Policy: |
Cancellation Policy: Refunds are given in full, less a one time $35/room per room processing fee, if cancellations are made two weeks prior to the arrival date. Groups with three or more rooms must cancel four weeks prior to the arrival date to receive a refund. Deposits will also be refunded if the room can be rented. We do not refund for early departures. |

A two night deposit is required on stays of 2 to 5 nights. A deposit equal to half the total amount is required for longer stays. |

Clean as a whistle, neat as a pin, interesting and whimsical antiques, comfortable sitting area with lots of games and home-made brownies, bright rooms with nice amenities, breakfast a real treat with things like poached pears, peach cobbler and whole-grain waffles with blackberry sauce, and Sandy, a helpful, well-informed innkeeper to help you make the most of your stay. There are lots of B&B's near Acadia National Park, but The Inn at Southwest would be a good choice.
