The Weskeag Inn B&B at the Water in South Thomaston, Maine is nestled in the heart of the St. George Peninsula. Ideally located near Penobscot Bay, between Thomaston and Rockland, the Weskeag offers spectacular ocean views, access to beaches, art galleries and beautiful things to inspire an artist to paint or photograph the two nearby lighthouses.
The reversing falls behind the Inn is a constant source of fascination for our guests! In winter, guests can watch the ice breaking off and flowing by - often with a seagull or two along for the ride. In the springtime the banks are lined with fishermen when the stripers come in; and in the summer guests enjoy a refreshing swim or even ride the current in an inner tube. There are always local birds to watch - great blue herons, eagles, egrets, osprey and of course many kinds of sea gulls.
There's a deck with a spectacular view, a spacious back lawn that ends at the Weskeag River's reversing falls, a library filled with books and videos to enjoy, and a piano waiting to be played. Please join us on your next vacation or long weekend. It also makes a perfect spot for an outdoor wedding!
