My wife and I came across the Gazebo back in the spring of 2005. Up until that point we had stayed at several prominent hotels and Inns in the area over the years. We tend to spend most of our free weekends away in Ogunquit. And with 2 children at home, it’s important that we maximize every minute of every opportunity that we get to get a long weekend away. :-) Ogunquit is a great year-round destination, and now that we’ve found the Gazebo Inn, we will not be staying anywhere else. The inn rooms are extremely comfortable, with extremely comfortable beds, high thread count sheets (my wife loves the sheets), in room steam showers and huge Jacuzzi tubs, flat panel LCD TVs, and on and on... We also spend a lot of out time sitting in the very comfortable and homey common area and chatting with other guests and the owner/operators, Scott and Bruce. These two guys are great. They’re extremely friendly without being overbearing (I hate overbearing Inn keepers). They know and love the area and they’re a great resource when looking for things to do. In addition to my wife and me staying at the Gazebo a few times each year, we also go away with a large group of friends twice each year (6 couples). Up until the fall of 05 the group would stay in a different inn each time we went away. We actually enjoyed the variety. But once the group experienced the Gazebo, we’ve not gone to another inn. The Gazebo is a great destination for a couple, or if you’re going away as part of a large group. My wife and I are now dedicated customers. And as long as Scott and Bruce keep the inn running the way they do now, we will be customers for a very long time to come. Mike & Kim Michel Dracut, MA
