Three Pines Bed & Breakfast and Farm, located in Hancock, Maine, offers a secluded retreat to travelers. Only a short drive from the Maine treasures of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, the waterfront homestead sits on 40 acres on the shore of Sullivan Harbor. Certified by the State of Maine as an Environmental Leader in the hospitality sector, Three Pines recently added a solar hot water system to the already environmentally friendly off the grid living structure.
Both guest rooms feature a private entrance, private bath, a cozy sitting area, and breathtaking views of the water. Guests of Three Pines are served a full breakfast each morning, with choices including pancakes, French toast, home baked muffins and much more. Guests do not have to eat exclusively in the dining room of the inn, but are allowed to enjoy their breakfast out on the deck or in the privacy of their own room as well. Serving the eco-friendly theme of the inn, the food served is vegetarian and is largely grown on the property.
With biking, hiking and several water sports being offered at Three Pines Bed and Breakfast, guests do not have to leave the property to enjoy the natural beauty of the Maine coast. Another popular activity offered nearby is sightseeing at many locations including Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor and Schoodic Point.
