Take a guided Moose Safari and learn about these amazing animals. The lodge has a private guide with over 20 years experience and a lot of unique Maine humor to enjoy. Moose out number humans three to one in the North Woods of Maine. Be sure you see one before you leave.

The winter at the Lodge can offer all kinds of activities from snowmobiling, to snowshoeing, dog sledding and ice fishing. Call the Lodge to arrange your amazing winter adventure or just cuddle up to a fire, enjoy a glass of wine and a wonderful winter supper in Chloe's Pub.

Allagash Suite in the Carriage House
The Allagash suite is decorated with antique oars and vintage paddles in a tribute to the Allagash Wilderness Waterway. Logging boom chains from the 1800's support the queen size bed from the ceiling. Large French doors open on the private deck and garden patio below with incredible views of Moosehead Lake. Updated private bath includes double jacuzzi-style tub, shower, double sinks and tile floor.

Totem Room in the Lodge
The room design influence is Native American Indian; the animals depicted in the queen bed are those found in the Moosehead region, Eagle, Beaver, Raven and the Bear with a fish. Totem Room offers a private bath with Jacuzzi-style bathtub/shower combination. Large leather chair is also a twin bed for a potential third person.

The hand-carved queen bed depicts two magnificent Bull Moose, and along with the matching bathroom mirror celebrates our cherished friend. This fabulous room includes a very spacious sitting area, HD 26” TV, and stone-faced gas fireplace.

Living Room in the Mt. Kineo Suite
The ultimate hideaway in the Moosehead Lake region: The Mt. Kineo Suite on the second floor of the carriage house provides privacy and astonishing views of Moosehead Lake and Mt. Kineo. The suite consists of 2 bedrooms, each with a queen size bed and custom furnishings. The shared bath includes large tile shower, double granite sinks, and double slipper soaking tub that sets before a river rock stone wall. This suite has a great room with TV, floor to ceiling gas fireplace, full kitchen with eat-in area and a large private deck for viewing and relaxing. This suite is perfect for two couples or family with teenage children.

Distinct style is evident as soon as you enter this second floor room, complete with a one of a kind hand-carved queen four poster bed and bathroom mirror. A trout is leaping for a worm on the front and a lure on the back. Upholstered walls in a fly fishing fabric add warmth and quiet. There's a step up sitting area with two wing back chairs that are surrounded by four windows overlooking the woodland gardens of the lodge. A TV cabinet and gas fireplace adds to the cozy, warm feel. This accommodation provides a charming bath with Jacuzzi-style bathtub/shower combination.
