Located in the coastal village of Freeport, Maine, White Cedar Inn Bed & Breakfast is a short, two-block stroll along brick-paved sidewalks to LL Bean and many brand-name outlet stores. If shopping is not your cup of tea, our B&B is 10-20 minutes by car to the Casco Bay lighthouses, beaches, museums, hiking trails, birding spots and many winter activities such as cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating and sledding. Awarded the Maine Environmental Leadership Certificate in Green Lodging in November of 2007.
Plan your day over a full breakfast in our sunroom. May we tempt your palate with Blackberry-Stuffed French Toast or Maine Blueberry Pancakes with Thick-Cut Peppered Bacon? Later, after shopping or exploring, return in the afternoon for cookies, brownies, or Fairy Cakes. Serve yourself coffee or tea from our beverage bar.

Our scrumptious, full breakfast consists of a fruit course and a hot entree such as Maine Blueberry Pancakes with Peppered Bacon or yummy mushroom and tomato omelets with sausage and toast with jam, coffee, tea and juices. Cold cereal and yogurt are also available.

Check-in is from 3 PM to 7 PM. |
Check Out Policy: |
Check-out is at or before 11 AM. Late check-out may be arranged, as reservations allow, for an additional charge. Late check-out must be arranged at time of booking. Unscheduled late check-out will be charged a minimum of $50/hour or portion thereof.

Cancellation Policy: |
If you find you must cancel your reservation with us, we will need to know one week in advance of your arrival date. We will do our best to rebook your room. If, however, we are unable to rebook your room, your deposit will not be refunded. No shows will be charged the entire stay. There is a $25 cancellation fee which will be taken from the deposit, if the deposit is refunded. |

Children are welcome here at White Cedar Inn. There are no childcare facilities on the premises. Children under the age of 16 may NOT be left alone anywhere on the premises.

Dog amenities: water & food bowls, quilt for sleeping, towel for drying off after a swim, 'pooper scooper' bags and, to take home with you we provide a copy of the Down East Dog News and the Down East Dog News Guide to Parks as well as a doggie treat.
Well-behaved dogs are allowed in our Bowdoin room. Dogs may not remain unattended in room, except during breakfast. There is an additional room charge of $25 for your dog.Please note, any damage done by your dog will be charged to your credit card. |
