Welcome to the Royalsborough Inn Bed and Breakfast in Durham, ME, just minutes from downtown Freeport. . . Situated on six acres of lovely fields this B&B offers a comfortable and peaceful, country setting. Not just a B&B, the Royalsborough Inn is also home to an Alpaca farm where these extraordinary animals and the products spun from alpaca yarn are showcased.
The main house consists of a living room with working fireplace that greets arriving guests; adjoining library offers an extensive array of books and games, a massage/spa and four guestrooms, each furnished with antiques, hand-sewn quilts and private baths. The Carriage House has three large suites with queen beds, gas log fireplaces, cable TV, and full private baths. The Carriage House also has a comfortable and warm common room with a wood burning stove and cable TV that can be used as a meeting room for retreats, family gathering or classes. |

If you must cancel your reservation, your deposit will be refunded in full only if we receive the cancellation more than fourteen days (14) prior to your arrival. If your cancellation is fourteen days or less, we require that you forfeit your deposit unless we are able to re-book the room(s) for the entire cancellation period. A $25 service fee will be assessed for any cancellation or changed reservation. Delayed arrivals or early departures are non-refundable. |

We really enjoyed our stay. The breakfasts were delicious and the accomodations were excellent. Jim and Marianne were great hosts and very helpful with area info. We would highly recommend a stay at this bed and breakfast.

Wonderful Place to Stay at a Good Price
The bedrooms, bathrooms, closets, and hospitality area are clean and spacious with handicap accessibility. The towels are large and very soft. There was plenty of hot water for showers. The parking area is ample. The farm setting is peaceful and idyllic. The breakfasts are “the best.” Did I mention that the owners are very nice, too? You just couldn’t ask for a better place to stay! We were pleased to return to this beautiful, comfortable setting, and we will return again.
Jim and Marianne Rogers bring many terrific skills to their inn: excellent food, carefully considered rooms with delightful details, the fascination of their alpacas (curious, luxurious creatures to learn about if you're interested). But most of all, they are kind and interesting hosts.
We had a complete car breakdown here, 400 miles from home. A bad experience turned good because of their considerate and concerned help. Despite our protests, they brought a delicious meal to our room. They worked hard to help us find the needed technical support. They were wonderful.
We'll never again need to compare bed and breakfast inns in this area. We will simply come here.

Royalsborough Inn is a wonderful place to stay. We have stayed there several times and had top rate accommodations, and a friendly warm atmosphere. We even had our wedding there last year.
