A charming inn with lots of history behind it. Mark and Judith have done a remarkable restoration and our stay was comfortable and quiet.
The grounds looked delightful despite being blanketed with snow, and we look forward to returning in warmer weather.

Tucked away in Dexter, Maine is a wonderful bed and breakfast, The Brewster Inn. I was greeted graciously at the door by owner Mark Stephens, who carried my suitcase to the Beckford Room, which was to be mine for my stay. The room was cozy and tastefully appointed in keeping with the historic period of this house now Inn. The owners are committed to their guests and make every effort in insure that guests are comfortable. The Brewster Inn is a must stay if you are Maine.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Brewster Inn. The Innkeepers are lovely people, and made every effort to ensure that our stay was a pleasant experience. The atmosphere in the common room was stately yet cozy and comfortable. The location is ideal to explore the Moose Head lake area. The foliage was excellent even though our visit was in late October! We will share our experience with our friends and plan to return in the future.

This was a fabulous Bed & Breakfast. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Brewster Inn. The Innkeepers were very hospitable and made my stay here very relaxing & comfortable. The Bed & Breakfast was well kept. I would definitely recommend this B & B to anyone travelling in this area.

This week, I stayed in the Game Room in the Brewster Inn. This place is simply astounding. The rooms here are almost like an adventure unto themselves. They reflect a generous amount of American history and New England charm, yet with modern amenities and an exquisitely European attention to detail. Mark the innkeeper has been very helpful and friendly. This was a quick trip for me, but I cannot wait to come back...and their outstanding room value is making it possible for me to be back...soon! I made reservations for my return trip on the way out the following morning.

The Brewster Inn is a magnificent gem that I was so lucky to have found. It is full of charm, history and beauty. You can't help but fall in love and never want to go home. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The robes are heavenly, had to take one home with me. Breakfast is always satisfying and tasty with a large variety to choose from. The Caramel French Toast a friend of the owners made was decadent and delicious. The gardens and lawn are so nice to stroll through. The porch/patio areas invite you to sit and relax as does the wonderful furniture in the living room. Visit once and you'll be sure to visit for years to come. I know I certainly will.

If you are looking to stay at a Historic Inn with picturesque surroundings, this is the place!! Great value for the money, in terms of both room quality and hospitality. The Innkeepers take pride in making everyone's comfort their priority.
