Some rooms also afford the charm of fireplaces, private decks, jacuzzis, and deep, claw-footed soaking tubs. Mornings bring the inn’s full-menu breakfast, featuring traditional downeast dishes and tempting daily specials prepared to order from fresh local ingredients. Light afternoon refreshments are served in the library.

Arched Lace Canopy Bed Separate Sitting Area and Small Deck The Chart Room Suite is a spacious and comfortable first floor true two room suite --- with a paneled sitting room with working gas fireplace, large tv/vcr, library bookshelf, loveseat and couple of comfortable easy chairs, and a separate spacious bedroom which has a beautiful arched mahogany Queen canopy bed, small tv, and french doors that open onto a private deck overlooking the gardens toward the rear of the property.

The Coastal Garden Room is a bright, romantic room on the ground floor that has cathedral ceilings, skylights and a private entrance on the garden. Its features include a beautiful off-white pencil post canopy bed with a decorative head and foot board, a cozy loveseat, gas fireplace, and ceiling fan. The pretty private bathroom has a tub/shower combination. Large cable tv with dvd and vcr and movie selection “The room is terrific. Windrose Suite
A True 2 Room Suite Apartment-like with its own private entrance, Victorian elegance awaits you in this second-floor suite. The Wind Rose Suite features a separate cozy sitting area with comfortable wing chairs, windsor bench, gas fireplace, tv/vcr combination and a radio/cd player. To complete the luxury of your apartment-like suite there is a large bathroom with claw-foot soaking tub, separate shower, and pedestal sink.
