Standing at the entrance to Boothbay Harbor, a vibrant and picturesque port village on the coast of Maine, the Thistle Inn has been welcoming guests since 1960. The Thistle Inn's period character, unique setting and long history, make it a perfect choice for vacations, honeymoons, anniversary gifts, and romantic getaways.
The Thistle Inn is within easy walking distance of all the attractions Boothbay Harbor has to offer. A short stroll brings you to the heart of Boothbay Harbor where you can enjoy the shops, galleries and port activities.
We welcome you to stay in any of our 5 private rooms. Each is named after a sailing vessel that makes or has made frequent visits to Boothbay Harbor. You can also reserve the entire Inn for Weddings, reunions, and corporate functions. Overnight guests are invited to enjoy a delicious breakfast served on the porch, weather permitting, or in the period decorated Mary Day room.
Our on-site restaurant & Dory Pub serves up the perfect mix of fine cuisine and casual fare. We use only the freshest ingredients and everything is home made, including salad dressings, fresh baked breads and desserts. |

Check-in runs from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. If you will not be able to make this check-in time, please give us a call. We are fairly flexible, so please let us know your plans in advance.

Cancellation Policy:
|
|
A cancellation surcharge of $20 will be charged for all cancellations. This will be refunded if you rebook within 6 months of arrival date.
If the reservation is cancelled within 10 days of the arrival date, one night will be charged for stays up to four nights; two nights will be charged for stays of five nights or more.
If the reservation is cancelled within 2 days of the arrival date we will charge for the full stay.
We will refund the entire deposit, except for the $20 cancellation fee if we are able to rent the room to another party.

Deposit Policy:

|
Reservations of one or two nights are guaranteed by a charge of 100% of your stay to your debit or credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or Discover) at the time of initial booking. Stays of three or more nights are secured with a deposit equal to 50% of your total stay. Upon arrival, guests are responsible for the full reservation as booked. There is no refund for departing early.
