The Dining Room
Wake up to the aroma of freshly ground gourmet coffees and teas ready for early-bird risers. A full scrumptious gourmet breakfasts awaits you for the day ahead. Enjoy signature dishes such as Baked Eggs with Havarti and Dill, Homemade Granola, Lemon Souffle pancakes and succulent fresh, local berries and fruits. Afternoon tea and fresh baked goods are ready for you upon your adventure return.

North Parlor
Complete with grand and player piano, this room features its original Italian marble working fireplace to compliment a relaxing atmosphere. The North Parlor contains period antiques and is sure to allure you to days gone by.

Cherry Wood Staircase
Join us for a stroll through the Inn. The entrance is graced by a staircase with a hand-carved, cherry newel post, banisters and rail. The original wood floors are beautifully maintained and lead into two formal parlors on either side of the entrance.

Hiram Alden Room
Named after the gentleman who built this home in 1840, The Hiram Alden Room is spacious and breathtaking in size, color and ambiance. It features a working fireplace with its original soft blue tiles and framed by a 7 1/2 foot handcarved cherry mantle from Italy. The room has a handsome burled walnut four poster queen bed with feather mattress, walnut dresser with marble top and dressing mirror, an en-suite private bath and original marble sink in a separate alcove. The Hiram Alden room is perfect for your romantic interlude.

The Penobscot Room
Named after our Bay, the roomy Penobscot has a pencil post canopy queen with featherbed, a soft pink marble fireplace, rich burgundy Rococo chairs and a Homer Winslow print atop the fireplace bringing the sea and its sound to your inviting room. En-suite bathroom area and thirsty robes for your private shower one step away from your room.

The Elizabeth Waller
Our sole room on the first floor of the Inn has a 71/2 foot tall, intricately carved, burled walnut queen with featherbed. Above the Italian marble mantel hangs a serene P.S. Kroyer print. One can almost feel the sand and smell the ocean air. The bedroom has an en-suite private bath with shower and pedestal sink. The room retains the original marble sink in an alcove. The room is a perfect romatic getaway and easily accessible for those who cannot traverse stairs.

The Emily Alden Room
This enchanting room is named after the wife of Hiram Alden who built the home. The sumptuous antique queen brass has a cozy featherbed. Candlelight adorns the original fireplace and accents the rooms dark greens, rose and white features. The room maintains the original built in drawers and closet space.
