This was the best B&B I have found in my travels. The innkeeper is a wonderful down to Earth person who is extremely hospitable but also unobtrusive. My parents and I stayed at this beautiful inn for 3 nights in beautiful Bar Harbor and enjoyed every minute. My parents aren't typically B&B type people but they really felt at ease and comfortable here. They both truely enjoyed this vacation. Thanks, Mark, for such a wonderful stay!

The Inn was lovely on a wonderful, quiet street but within walking distance to town. Great not having to use the car to go to eat and sightsee. Our hosts were gracious and breakfast was pure delight.

Great place to stay. We stayed in the English Holly room which was attractivly decorated and extremly clean. My husband loved the afternoon cookies. The gourmet breakfast in the morning was outstanding. We liked it so much that we made reservations for the fall before we left.

The Maples Inn is definitely a great place to stay in Bar Harbor. It provided a relaxing, quiet escape just a short walk away from the shops and restaurants of downtown Bar Harbor. The breakfasts were outstanding and the presentation and overall inn service were no less. Afternoon tea and cookies on the picturesque porch and a checkerboard on a cozy library window seat also added to the atmosphere.
