Loooved this Bed & Breakfast. Jane (and Steve) are amazing chefs with the perfect dash of personality to make me feel like I was at the top of the world (or Cadillac Mountain). I almost didn't want to leave the house and explore Bar Harbor. I would highly recommend that this be a stop on any New England holiday. Thank you for making the beginning to my new year the best it could be.

My wife and I have been visiting Bar Harbor, ME since 1982. We have stayed in all types of accommodations - camping, hotels/motels, B&B's, even at College of The Atlantic - but Aysgarth Station is a gem among them all. Jane and Steve work very hard to make sure their guests have a wonderful experience; conversation is stimulating, and the food is great (with an added extra of diet-busting goodies in the afternoon)! The location is perfect - a short walk to downtown and no parking worries (off-street parking). Our family has always loved Bar Harbor & Acadia and now we have another reason to return.

We needed a place to stay and no reservation. While looking in the Maine accomodations brochure we noticed this inn. We called them and without much hesitation made the reservation just by the way Steve manner on the phone. Needless, to say we were enchanted by this inn. It has been lovingly restored to standards that even Queen Victoria would not object to. We would highly recommend it and are even planning our next visit in July.

I went to Bar Harbor on business, and did not arrive until 11:30 PM. I was so pleased to find a note welcoming me, with directions to my wonderful room. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept away from home, maybe even more than my own! I did not have time to eat this morning, but I did meet Jane and she was so sweet and welcoming. And because I was not able to be accomodated for two nights, Jane offered to take my luggage to the other inn I am staying in this evening. I will definitly stay again when not on business so I can enjoy the full experience.
