You can bicycle to Carriage Roads from the Inn. Open year round. We are a five minute drive from Acadia National Park with its unique system of Carriage Roads - 60 miles of unpaved roads that are ideal for bicycling, skiing and snowshoeing. 120 miles of hiking trails.
Mountains, lakes, and coastline of unsurpassed beauty. Get out on the water: whale watching, sea kayaking, canoeing, or taking a romantic sunset sailing cruise. Golf at one of the Island's three courses. Or simply relax outdoors at the inn and enjoy the large lawn, flower gardens, croquet court, and hammocks.
