A Retreat from the Everyday. Graycote Inn Bed & Breakfast in Bar Harbor is open year-round for your vacation or business needs. The inn is Bar Harbor's first Green Certified B&B. The Graycote is ideally located on a large lot on a quiet side street, within easy walking distance of Bar Harbor’s restaurants, shops, galleries and ocean-oriented activities. You can bicycle to Carriage Roads from the Inn. Open year round. We are a five minute drive from Acadia National Park with its unique system of Carriage Roads - 60 miles of unpaved roads that are ideal for bicycling, skiing and snowshoeing.

All rooms have private baths and queen or king size beds, many with canopies. All bedrooms are air conditioned. In the mornings you’re greeted with a hot breakfast and when you return from a long exciting day you’ll be greeted with complimentary afternoon refreshments. Some bedrooms include wood-burning fireplaces, private balconies, or private sitting room. The Carriage House is behind the main house and is great for families or larger group getaways like girlfriends getaways as it can rented as either a one or two bedroom suite. Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the inn.
