After a whirlwind weekend in a nearby big city (rehearsal dinner, bridesmaids' brunch, big formal wedding & reception), we needed a nice, quiet place to relax & unwind. Fowler House Country Inn was the perfect idyllic and tranquil retreat. Its proximity to the Poverty Point historic site was a plus. Ruby is a gracious and considerate hostess. She made sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed, including the perfect breakfast. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. Would love to go back.
