My husband and I wanted one night "away from it all" and this is our place to do it! Quiet, beautifully tended, every detail of the cottage, landscape, and gourmet breakfast shows that our hosts are truly gifted to please. We have been there three times, so it has become a tradition that we look forward to once a year--wish it could be more! If you love peace and solitude, beautiful surroundings, charming, Cajun decor (which stirred my husband's childhood memories), coffee on the porch, sole fellowship with your dearest, and a scrumptious breakfast delivered to your doorstep (at a pleasant hour), this B&B can become part of your romantic tradition, or just a quiet refuge from the madding crowd. Lyn also knows the balance of being available and warmly friendly, yet unobstrusive...the perfect hostess! |

My husband surprised me with this wonderful weekend for our 12th anniversary. It was a wonderful treat, the accomendations were fabelous and the atmosphere would make anyone fall in love all over again. |

A 'Unique' B&B. Near highway, yet absolutely peacefull and restfull.
A charming cottage atmospherre created by a talented and artistic couple.

I'm not sure what happens when we go to the "Autumn Cottage", but all I can say is it is "Special", We celebrated our 27th anniversary there, and just recently our 29th also. It's "our special place" and I know we'll be back again. Our son just got married in February and our daughter-in-law is talking to him about going for their 1-Year anniversary. My husband and I had talked about how neat it would be to pass this tradition down to our children. I think he will go since he heard that we got to "fish" in the pond that's on the property!! God has blessed us !!! I know we'll be back ! God is Good !!!!! |

These little cottages leave nothing to be desired in the way of comfort. The intimacy and privacy that each affords is worth every effort to get there. The innkeepers have given every eye to detail so that you will have the most romantic time of your life. |

No detail was left unattended to during our stay at Maison D'Memoire. The cottages are charmingly decorated. Every effort to make guests feel comfortable is provided by the innkeeper (who is delightful) from a variety of toiletries in the bathroom to juices, condiments, coffee, and anything you could possibly need in the kitchen and even rose petals in the toilet. The grounds is nice, there is a small pond and guests have freedom to roam around place and enjoy themselves, although sometimes traffic can be heard from the main road. I would reccommend Maison D'Memoires to anyone, but particularly couples because of its romantic setting. Breakfast is served to your door in a basket. It's a beautiful presentation fit for a king! We had fabulous stuffed french toast w/homemade strawberry syrup, valentne eggs, rum laced grapefruit, and local sausage. We didn't want to leave. |

Couldn't have been better! It exceeded my highest expectations. Romantic, quaint, lovely setting, great breakfast and our host was very helpful. Can't wait to return! |
