The Inn was a great place to stay. Room was great, service great. The really special thing was how incredibly helpful the innkeepers were in helping us in learning the area. We were looking for housing for my son, who will be a law student at Tulane. The help and caring attitude from Guy and Nancy was really special;.

Our weekend in new Orleans was picture perfect due to our very comfortable stay at the Sully Mansion. The mansion truly has kept its period charm yet offers the modern conveniences we expected. Nancy and Guy even went out of there way at my friends request to pick up a bottle of champagne and flowers for our arrival! The accommodations were beautiful and the hospitality was top notch. Breakfasts were our favorite meal of the day! Very reasonably priced as well.

My family held a reunion at the Sully Mansion. We found the proprieters, Nancy and Guy Fournier, to be a lovely, thoughtful and interesting couple. Nancy actually helped plan the event months in advance and made sure that each guest's needs were anticipated before their arrival. The B & B has been lovingly restored by its hosts, and is both elegant and comfortable. Many thoughtful touches and great attention to detail are evident throughout, making it even more delightful and inviting. (The rooms are far more beautiful than they appear in the website pictures.) Nancy and Guy love New Orleans and are more than happy to suggest places to go and provide directions. Their homemade breakfasts are wonderful. We left with Nancy's apple waffle recipe, and she packed a breakfast for the guests who left early. Needless to say, our event was a tremendous success and we all loved our stay at the Sully Mansion

Guy and Nancy are the ultimate hosts! Whatever questions we had, they had the answers. They were very accommodating and gracious.

The Sully Mansion is a beautiful place with welcoming hosts and we were delighted to be staying there. Nancy and Guy have a wealth of information about the city and about Tulane that they were happy to share with us. The breakfasts were delicious, with home baked pastries and croissants and a variety of fresh fruits. The location in the Garden District was ideal for enjoying the city and relaxing. We rode the streetcar many times, which was one block from the mansion. It is a magical sort of place that would make anyone feel both at home and in a wonderful exotic land, simultaneously. We would highly recommend the Sully Mansion.

I always feel at home staying at the Sully - great location, personable innkeepers, lovely furnishings, delicious breakfast. Fodors recommended the Sully before the current owners...they should return with Nancy and Guy. I think they would be rated with a "star" for Fodors Choice.

Home away from home! Right when I crossed the doors of the Sully Mansion, I felt at home. Nancy and Guy are amazing hosts. They made me feel that I had known them forever. They will help you with anything, you just have to ask. Breakfast is delicious and fresh. The rooms are very clean, cozy and welcoming. Privacy is assured. They have a lovely front porch where you can sit, maybe have a beer while browsing on internet using their wireless network. The neighborhood is beautiful and the Mansion is at a walking distance from the streetcar. I will never forget my stay there and will want anyone I know to experience this. Nancy will do her best to accommodate last minute bookings (she did it for me) but better to book early to make sure you’ve got a spot.

I recommend staying here. It is a beautiful mansion on a great street. The owners, Guy and Nancy are wonderful. There is artwork on all of the walls and the front porch and views are exceptional.

Perfectly placed for 'downtown'(on foot or by streetcar), Magazine Street and the Garden District, with public transport further west. Individual rooms, fine breakfast (cooked dish at the weekends) and 'our home is your home' hospitality. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Sully Mansion New Orleans Finest In October 2007, my wife and I were surprisingly delighted to stay at the Sully Mansion in the garden district of New Orleans. Guy and Nancy, our terrific hosts more than went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable in Sully Mansion and New Orleans. Our charming room was nicely appointed. The bathroom adjoining the bedroom was in addition to being large and clean well functioning with the original period plumbing fixtures. At Breakfast, we were treated to a traditional New Orleans delight although one morning, we left Sully Mansion to eat a breakfast brunch at Commander’s Palace Restaurant (one of New Orleans’s finest and something not to miss with a jazz quartet playing at your table in the garden breakfast room) a short two blocks walk from the Bed & Breakfast. As a couple that has been truly fortunate stay at some of the nicest hotels in the U.S. and the world, Sully Masion is a place not to miss. Peter & Shelley Boulder, Colorado

I firmly believe that there is no better place to stay in New Orleans than the Sully Mansion. I travel to the area regularly and have stayed at this inn numerous times. The innkeepers are consistently personable, knowledgeable and flexible. Nancy and Guy effortlessly accommodate my needs as a business traveler while also providing the little luxuries that vacationers expect. No detail is overlooked, and no request is too large or too small. Every guest room on the property is a delight, and each morning I look forward to a one-of-a-kind home-baked breakfast.

Besides being an architectural juwel the house has a very warm feel to it. Nancy and Guy did everything to make me feel at home by providing insider information on the city, lending me their bike and finding the best deals in town. The breakfast was delicious: fresh fruits and a variety of sweet and savory dishes. Thanks again!

We have been to New Orleans many times and this is by far the best place that we have stayed in. Guy and Nancy are to be commended for opening a business in New Orleans after Katrina, but that is not the only reason to stay at the Sully Mansion. Stay there because it is a great place to stay, a beautiful home in the beautiful Garden District, with so much nearby. The rooms are very comfortable with all the amenities of a hotel, plus the charm of a beautiful home. Guy and Nancy are full of suggstions for things to do and places to eat. All of this and a great breakfast too. We had an early flight and Nancy packed us a breakfast to eat on the plane!

A very nice, well located, safe place in the Garden District with a warm and thoughtful hostess. Come to New Orleans, contribute to the local economy and help this unique treasure of a city get back on its feet.

This B&B is excellently run and offers a real sense of welcome upon arrival. The ownership is most helpful and friendly. They can offer much insight into the local area. They are situated in a beautiful section of New Orleans called the Garden District. I would not hesitate to recommend this establishment.

The owners of this establishment truly know the meaning of hospitality and a sense of arrival. They were very helpful answering my questions concerning the local areas and services. I am looking forward to returning with my wife for a romantic getaway and would highly recommend this B&B to my friends with confidence.
