Come Inside!
You'll be welcomed by Joe and Bebe, in-residence Innkeepers and Proprietors. Thirteen foot ceilings on all three levels, hardwood floors throughout and eight original fireplaces allow you to step back in time. From our New Orleans, LA Bed and Breakfast, take a casual stroll to antique shopping on Magazine Street, where you will find specialty boutiques, fine bistros and lively nightspots. Notable restaurants in our immediate area include Commander's Palace, Emeril Lagasse's Delmonico, Upperline, Pascal Manale's, Copeland's, Fat Harry's Pub, and Cannon's (located next door to the Inn). 

Dining Room
Complimentary continental breakfast is served in the dining room or on the Creole-style veranda (weather permitting) each morning to start your day.

Traditional (Boutique)Queen
Lovely room with high ceiling, wrought iron bed, desk and private bath. All rooms have cable, WIFI and plenty of outlets for your laptop or accessories. We have several rooms in this category, all unique!

Standard Double Double
Bright and airy describes this spacious accommodation. Can sleep up to four.

Deluxe Double Queen
Large plantation queen beds, high ceiling, hardwood floor and walk-in closet. As with all rooms,this one has a private bathroom, WIFI, cable and A/C

Grand Queen
Imagine yourself in this room with its four poster bed, Victorian sitting area, decorative original fireplace and private bathroom. Its a romantic dream come true for a honeymoon or anniversary or just to get away.

Deluxe King
One of several large accommodations with either a wrought iron bed or four poster bed and plenty of space. This one features a fireplace and the sun room with the owner's grandmother's breakfast table.

Nanny's Quarters
On the third level of the mansion, this room has the original bay window where the Nanny brought the children to watch the Mardi Gras parades. The view of the avenue is lovely and so is the room. Features the owner's grandfather's roll top desk

Grand King
Our honeymoon, anniversary or CEO accommodation with a four poster bed, large sitting area and a bathroom with four foot tub and separate shower.

Deluxe Queen
This was the master bedroom of the Picards who built the Mansion and lived here in the late 1890's. The room has a view of the avenue, a decorative fireplace and hardwood flooring.

Beautiful Weddings
The Avenue Inn prides itself in hosting very intimate events and you will take pride in the memories that we help you create. We can arrange a wonderful experience for 2 up to 40 people including lodging, the ceremony for a wedding or vow renewal, floral enhancements, catering and/or transportation to receptions or functions immediately following the service. Elopements and vow renewals are popular here.
