Welcome to Maison de Macarty, a historic New Orleans Bed & Breakfast, located in the Bywater National Historic District; just five minutes from the sights, sounds and excitement of the French Quarter. Bywater is a bohemian district unique to 1860s Victorian Home New Orleans composed of blue collar working class families, young professionals, artists, and musicians; and has been labeled one of America's most interesting neighborhoods.
Our 1860s Victorian home is a luxurious landmark in the neighborhood; features six guest rooms in the main house all with en-suite baths, and two private cottages.
Enjoy one of our chef's hearty breakfasts and then choose to wile away the hours by our mineral water swimming pool, enjoy a good book under the shade of the Crepe Myrtle trees on our private courtyard, or venture out into the city to people watch in Jackson Square, explore the architectural richness of Bywater and Fauborg Marigny, experience our love of food and music, or marvel at the uniqueness and history of our cemetaries.

Cancellation Policy: |
Maison de Macarty is an exclusive property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please notify us:
* within 10 days of arrival for non-peak period reservations.
* within 30 days of arrival for peak period and special events reservations.
(Special events include, New Years Eve, Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, French Quarter Fest, Essence Fest, Southern Decadence, Voodoo Fest (Halloween), Sugar Bowl, and National Sporting Championships.)
In the unlikely event that you must cancel your reservation with shorter notice than specified above, or shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. We will make every effort to rebook your room in the event of a cancellation. If the room(s) is re-booked, a full or partial refund shall be made. |
