The 1896 O’Malley House Bed & Breakfast is conveniently located only streetcars ride down Canal St. to the French Quarter and convention center. It’s in a neighborhood that boasts great food, music and culture. Within a three-block radius, guests can partake of cuisines that range from Creole and Cajun French to other ethnic foods such as Greek, Italian or Mexican. Nearby is Rock and Bowl, which is great fun for music, dancing and bowling!
City Park, which houses the world class New Orleans Museum of Art, is also just a short walk from the house. Endymion, which is a famous Mardi Gras parade, rolls through mid-city too! All of our bedrooms are tastefully furnished with some antiques and reproductions. An expanded continental breakfast is served in the lovely downstairs dining room. Dining, tours, and entertainment recommendations are provided by hosts, Brad Smith and Larry Watts (and Cody, our golden retriever!), to enhance your visit.
