Sully Mansion New Orleans Finest
In October 2007, my wife and I were surprisingly delighted to stay at the Sully Mansion in the garden district of New Orleans. Guy and Nancy, our terrific hosts more than went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable in Sully Mansion and New Orleans. Our charming room was nicely appointed. The bathroom adjoining the bedroom was in addition to being large and clean well functioning with the original period plumbing fixtures. At Breakfast, we were treated to a traditional New Orleans delight although one morning, we left Sully Mansion to eat a breakfast brunch at Commander’s Palace Restaurant (one of New Orleans’s finest and something not to miss with a jazz quartet playing at your table in the garden breakfast room) a short two blocks walk from the Bed & Breakfast. As a couple that has been truly fortunate stay at some of the nicest hotels in the U.S. and the world, Sully Masion is a place not to miss.

This was a beautiful, historic home in the Garden district, with outstanding hosts, Nancy & Guy. We all felt welcome, comfortable and nurtured from our first minute. Rooms were elegant and very comfortable!
Highly recommended.

I firmly believe that there is no better place to stay in New Orleans than the Sully Mansion. I travel to the area regularly and have stayed at this inn numerous times. The innkeepers are consistently personable, knowledgeable and flexible.
Nancy and Guy effortlessly accommodate my needs as a business traveler while also providing the little luxuries that vacationers expect. No detail is overlooked, and no request is too large or too small. Every guest room on the property is a delight, and each morning I look forward to a one-of-a-kind home-baked breakfast.

Besides being an architectural juwel the house has a very warm feel to it. Nancy and Guy did everything to make me feel at home by providing insider information on the city, lending me their bike and finding the best deals in town. The breakfast was delicious: fresh fruits and a variety of sweet and savory dishes. Thanks again!

We have been to New Orleans many times and this is by far the best place that we have stayed in. Guy and Nancy are to be commended for opening a business in New Orleans after Katrina, but that is not the only reason to stay at the Sully Mansion. Stay there because it is a great place to stay, a beautiful home in the beautiful Garden District, with so much nearby. The rooms are very comfortable with all the amenities of a hotel, plus the charm of a beautiful home. Guy and Nancy are full of suggstions for things to do and places to eat. All of this and a great breakfast too. We had an early flight and Nancy packed us a breakfast to eat on the plane!

A very nice, well located, safe place in the Garden District with a warm and thoughtful hostess. Come to New Orleans, contribute to the local economy and help this unique treasure of a city get back on its feet.

This B&B is excellently run and offers a real sense of welcome upon arrival. The ownership is most helpful and friendly. They can offer much insight into the local area. They are situated in a beautiful section of New Orleans called the Garden District. I would not hesitate to recommend this establishment.

The owners of this establishment truly know the meaning of hospitality and a sense of arrival. They were very helpful answering my questions concerning the local areas and services. I am looking forward to returning with my wife for a romantic getaway and would highly recommend this B&B to my friends with confidence.
