This lovely home and horse farm was a wonderful get-away for my husband's birthday. Such a relaxing and comfortable place, and the breakfasts were fabulous: delicious, healthy, interesting. We went to the Creation Museum (VERY close), and the Ark Encounter (45 min. drive) and enjoyed several very good restaurants in nearby Lawrenceburg, IN. Perfect getaway for us!

This is the second time we have stayed at First Farm Inn! Jen and Dana along with their critters never disappoint. It is one of the best B&Bs in the country. We always enjoy our time there and love spending time being pampered by them. Wonderful talks with Jen. Their farm is such a beautiful place and so relaxing, in a quiet, peaceful setting.

We were looking for a place to relax and get away. This inn was perfect. It's located close to many tourist sites if you are looking for things to do. We just enjoyed everything from our room, the food, the front porch and interacting with the farm "critters". The owners were accommodating. We would recommend to anyone.

My husband and I live in Chicago and wanted to get away from the city. We decided to stay at the First Farm Inn because it looked so lovely in the pictures on the website. And it was! On the drive there, we thought we were going to get in around 7:30 pm but with daylight savings and then the hour change from Central to Eastern time, we didn’t end up arriving until 10pm (we probably called them about 4 times to let them know we were going to be later than we thought! They were so nice every time we called!). When we got there, Dana greeted us and was kind and welcoming even though it was so late. He showed us around their home and kindly asked if we needed anything. We felt immediately comfortable and at home. Breakfast was always delicious! There is always more than enough food! So good! The home is so beautiful and the animals are a joyful presence. We really enjoyed our time here and our only regret is that we didn’t go horseback riding. Beautiful area. Jen and Dana are so warm and friendly. We had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before, and we had a wonderful first experience! We made great memories. Definitely stay here! Totally worth the cost!

My wife and I went stayed for two nights for our tenth wedding anniversary and it was our first B&B experience. It was, without doubt, perfect. The room was gorgeous breakfast, chosen from a robust menu, was divine. Breakfast conversation with Jen and her daughter Tatiana was charming and fun. The house and grounds are immaculate and Jen is a brilliant instructor when it comes to getting a novice like me on a horse. We had a beautiful morning ride all over the farm and my wife and I both agreed that we couldn't have made a better plan for our anniversary.

Jen and Dana provided a wonderful experience. First Farm is picturesque and very convenient. Wish we could have stayed longer. Hiking along the nearby country roads was an extra bonus. JD

I contacted Jen and told her I was homeschooling my teenage son and looking to have horseback riding lessons and a lesson on the care of horses. She was very accommodating to our needs. We had a wonderful stay in the Treetop Room. The breakfasts were out of this world. We loved meeting all the animals on the farm. My son wanted to take some of them home. My son agreed with me that he would like to come back again.

We were delighted and felt very comfortable in the country setting of this home-like inn. The room was great and especially the breakfast. The conversation was warm, as was the whole wheat peach pancakes, with sides of cooked apples and sausage. Having the option of a massage and then to relas in the hot tub, was icing on the cake. I enjoyed being around the horses, cats, and dog, as it brought back child hood memories of my grandparents farm.

Jen ~ made our stay so nice and relaxing. She is wonderful about teaching a person how to ride a horse and has such wonderful patience. Very informative as what to do in the area and has a lot of information for people to take. The house is very welcoming and relaxing. We will return next year.
