Enjoy all the amenities of today in the Blackridge Hall B&B, a 1990 mansion which features the detailing and charm of homes built a century or more ago. From conception to completion Jim D. Black, your host, was personally involved in all aspects of the design and decoration of this magnificent home. This Southern Georgian mansion is a reminder of the Old South’s plantation homes, and overlooks a 200 acre horse farm, The Heritage.

Guests drive up a winding drive lined with newly planted Bradford pear trees. The Southern Georgian-style mansion's facade features four 20-foot columns on its front porch. Double doors open to the foyer, done in Italian marble. If you desire more than relaxing there is much to see in do nearby. Less than 20 minutes away you will find: Georgetown College, The University of Kentucky, Downtown Lexington and Rupp Arena, Keeneland and Red Mile Race Track, Factory Stores of America Outlet Mall, the Toyota Motor Corp.

Tour, Kentucky State Horse Park and Horse Farm Tours, Eight State of the art stealth theaters. Horseback riding is also available nearby. Blackridge Hall is less than an hour drive from historic Harrodsburg and Shakertown. Jim D. Black, your host, is knowledgeable and happy to guide you in the right direction.
