Beautifully furnished, but also quite cozy and comfortable. The housekeeper was very friendly and made us feel right at home and was very attentive to our needs and food preferences.

What a wonderful experience! Melinda, the innkeeper, was an absolutely perfect hostess! The Inn is beautiful, and Melinda made us feel so welcome and completely at home. Our room was perfect, and the breakfast was amazing! My husband and I had the omelet and fresh fruit, which were delicious, and had strawberry yogurt with fresh fruit, water with a slice of lemon, and orange juice with a slice of orange, all in stemware. Next time we visit, we want to try the pancakes - I'm sure they'll be as yummy as the omelets! Thank you, Melinda, for a wonderful, refreshing stay!

My husband and I spent our Honeymoon at the Iron Gate Inn. It was the perfect place to start our married life. Melinda was the perfect hostess. She made us feel like the Inn was our home. We only had to ask and she was there to meet our needs. We will definately be back again. Winfield is a town filled with quaint charm. If you arelooking for a place to get away and spend a quiet weekwnd this is your place.

We had an amazing weekend stay at this lovely B&B. The Inn Keeper, Melinda, was very accommodating and personal, we really enjoyed getting to know her. We bought the Valentine's Day package and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had massages by Terri, which were absolutely wonderful.
All the special little touches of personal service throughout our stay were so refreshing and much appreciated. We had chocolates on our pillows and bottled water upon our arrival.
We had our choice of a couple options for breakfast, I chose the pancakes and bacon while my husband chose the omelet with fresh fruit. We both had water with a wedge of lime, orange juice with a wedge of orange & strawberry yogurt with a fresh strawberry all served in stemware. Makes me want to start using my stemware and garnish with fresh fruit wedges!
This historical home is simply gorgeous. We would love to visit again, perhaps in the warmer months so we can enjoy the beautiful porch and screened in balcony.
