This was a birthday gift to my mom. Ken gives a tour of the home and historic information on the family that lived in there as well as the architecture and overall history which was very interesting. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful. Early check in is available, but be sure to ask about the up-charge associated with it. I was surprised at checkout. Lovely room and very quiet and relaxing.

Serenity Bed and Breakfast offers a combination of elegance and late nineteenth-century charm. The owner, Ken Elliott, is a gracious host and master chef with an experienced eye for detail. My wife and I visited Serenity to celebrate our anniversary. We selected the Sunflower Suite, the home’s original master bedroom, furnished with a massive four-poster bed and Jacuzzi tub. In addition to tasteful, period decorations, Ken provides amenities, such as a handsome selection of in-room wines and a Keurig coffee maker. We opted for in-room dining, and the meals were sumptuous. For dinner, Ken prepared grilled salmon with pesto sauce and asparagus, rice pilaf, and green beans. For breakfast, he served huge omelets with bacon, fresh fruit and yogurt, bagels, orange juice, and coffee with heavy cream. My wife and I highly recommend Serenity Bed and Breakfast for anyone looking for a sinfully delicious, romantic experience.

We stayed at Serenity to celebrate our 20th anniversary. Found Serenity on-line and we're so glad we did. Ken accommodated an early check-in for us, gave us a quick tour of the house including the history, and was there to provide us with anything we needed during our stay. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was simply outstanding. We are looking forward to visiting again in the future.

Ken was a wonderful host for the one night we stayed at his B&B. He recommended an excellent brewery in Old Town Wichita the evening we arrived, and he also cooked a delightful breakfast the following morning. His french toast was scrumptious, providing the perfect fuel for the remainder of our drive back to Colorado that day. The room was lovely and well-appointed. The bed was quite comfortable after a long day in the car. MOST IMPORTANTLY, I accidentally left my glasses in the room after we left. I called Ken from somewhere in western Kansas when I realized my lapse, and he promptly offered to mail them directly back to my house. They arrived shortly and were packaged up in soft cotton to cushion their travel. I was so appreciative of his willingness to help and his professional courtesy. He takes good care of the folks who come through his marvelous house.

We highly recommend this B&B. The home is a beautiful Victorian with architectural highlights of museum quality. Our room was beautifully appointed and extremely comfortable. Ken is a great cook and offers a dinner option. We highly recommend that you "dine in" during your stay. The meal was delicious, well presented and served in Ken's elegant Victorian dining room. You will enjoy a quiet conversation over your meal, a unique experience in most of todays restaurants! Later that night Ken prepared the most delicious hot chocolate treat we have ever had. All in all the Serenity was one of the finest B&B experiences we have had in several years of travel. Thanks, Ken! We'll be back.
