I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and have fallen in love with the Lyons Twin Mansions and the city of Fort Scott. The extravagant furnishings and decor was truly a delight. The two rooms with bathtub's were wonderful. The breakfast was exceptional, creative and catered to my food allergies. I appreciate all of the exceptional gluten free meals.

The Lyons Twin Mansions is a bed and breakfast I would suggest to anyone, anytime. Miss Pat and family are the most wonderful people to have met, they are so inviting to all of their guests. It's truly a blessing if you ever get to meet them and stay at the Mansions. I travel on business, and am able to stay at Lyons and because of it, will always check with other bed and breakfasts on my travels, in hope to find something so great!

This was our first stay in a B& B and we are hooked. Miss Pat is an excellent host and the food was wonderful. This was the perfect place for a romantic weekend getaway! We enjoyed wandering around the mansion and admiring the beautiful and unique décor.
We also loved the spa services and that there were so many extra services offered. Truly a one of a kind weekend.

This is a most beautiful place. Wonderfully decorated in the Victorian era. The food is excellent. They offer loads of extras you can choose to add to your stay. We have stayed here twice. Both times on our anniversary.

This was our sixth time staying here, we LOVE it. We were married at the Mansion and keep coming back. While we have stayed at other BnB's in the USA and in Ireland, none have compared to the the gracious hospitality, wonderful food, romantic mood of the rooms and relaxation of Lyons Mansion. We are always greeted as family and every ammenity is thought out in advance. We LOVE this place so much, we tell everyone to STAY THERE!

This place was amazing! Miss Pat's cooking is the best I've ever had! We only live 30 minutes away, and it felt like we were a million miles away! We will definitely be going back and recommending this place to as many people as possible! Everything was fantastic to say the least!

We were in Fort Scott and came across this bed & breakfast by accident. We arrived without any reservation, but were welcomed with open arms and made to feel right at home. The owners are outstanding. We would highly recommend it to everyone and we plan to return.

We loved this place. Me and my hubby stayed here for a romantic anniversary getaway and could not have asked for more. We stayed in Preecia's Velvet Hideaway and felt like we were in our own little romantic world.
When we arrived we had a couples massage and then enjoyed a picnic on the front porch. Miss Pat's food is to die for. We were very relaxed and it was nice to just be able to concentrate on us.
There was a huge selection of current new dvd releases available to view on the huge flat screen t.v. in our room. We enjoyed our stay at this establishment 100%.
Breakfast was excellent and I even bought one of Miss Pat's cookbooks and some of her homemade granola. I know for certain what I will be asking for in the future for my anniversary. A trip to the Lyon's Mansion, I couldn't have enjoyed my stay anymore.

Miss Pat is wonderful and will help you with anything you may need while your in town. From wondeful directions to scheduling Pedicures, massages and even restaurant help. Miss Pat's Breakfast's are DELICIOUS!!!!! We loved the cottage and were equally impressed by the rest of the property. Everyone there was great!!! Thanks so much for a wonderful weekend.

The hostess was very warm and welcoming. The rooms were creative and cozy. The lobby and dining rooms were unbelievable. Miss Pat puts quite a lot of effort into making you feel welcome. Also, the couples massage was great!

I came home totally relaxed from the wonderful massage, wonderful food, great soak in the hot tub, stroll through the gardens and of course the wonderful hospitality of Miss Pat and everyone at the mansion.Oops I almost forgot the front porch swing which is one of my favorite places to relax.

It was a wonderful combination of spa and bed and breakfast. Ms. Lyons was very informative as to the history of the house and added those extra touches that make a stay incredible. The food was perfect and the massage just topped everything off.

The rooms are each unique and beautifully decorated, with plenty of bathroom space. A nice pond with table and chairs are available in the side yard for a peaceful sitting area.
