Lyons Twin Mansions Bed & Breakfast in Fort Scott, KS takes a bold path to address the needs of our treasured guests. We have declared for years that we will treat you like royalty and we have lived up to that high standard, never compromising your needs or your dreams. The Economy won’t keep us from fulfilling that promise nor prevent you from enjoying leisure travel in the manner to which you have become accustomed.

We have been talking about how we can help guests and ourselves as surplus dollars poured into the gas tank and rising costs put our budgets in a real squeak they call an “economic crisis.” These past months we have noticed our leisure travelers curb their stay to just one night when it was always two nights, planning just one getaway rather than the usual two or three. “Luxury is not about money. The only negitive thing I could say about this bed and breakfast is that I thought, at least from the pictures, that it would be located at a more secluded area. It is right on a main road. However, the positives about this place far outweigh that one negitive. The food which I had high expectations of from other people's comments was just what I expected. It was awesome and the dinning room is very nice. Mrs. Pat is super sweet and bent backwards to make our stay wonderful. It was so nice to be able to leave our life for a couple days and enjoy our eigth anniversary together. We did get a massage and my husband really enjoyed it. Can't wait to go back again.

The rooms were AMAZING, the staff was extremely all about customer service! Their employee Angel went ABOVE and BEYOND to accomodate my family. We had my sisters and their spouses all rent a room for 2 nights for a sibling weekend, and we will definately be going back!! FOOD for breakfast was AMAZING!!

I took my mom on a mother daughter spa weekend getaway. We had a great time. Mrs. Pat was a delightful host! The B&B was a gorgeous and well decorated Victorian Home. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious and clean!! The atmosphere in general was enchangitng. The spa service was amazaing and needless to say we left relaxed and ready to get back to the work week. Finally, the food at mansion was spectacular! On the drive home, we discussing that it is worth the drive just for the food. Our compliments to the chef! We are looking forward to our next stay at the Lyons!

We stayed here for out 10 year anniversary. We wanted somewhere close to Kansas City (kid there with Grandma) but a little bit of a getaway to celebrate. Our stay with Miss Pat and her crew was amazing. They took such great care of us in the beautifully kept Twin Mansions. It was exactly what we wanted & needed.

Wonderful bed and breakfast. We felt welcomed the second we arrived. Miss Pat is a gracious host. The rooms are luxurious. There are no words to describe how incredible the breakfast is.

I have stayed at Lyons Twin Mansions several times over a two month period and it has been a fabulous experience. It is very difficult to pin point what made it so, but when are at a place and can think of nothing but bringing your loved ones back to have the same experience you know it made an impact on you. I have never been at any place that made me feel so much at home - Mrs. Pat and family made it as if I were one of their own family. Did not expect this kind of hospitality in such a rural town of America. If anyone happens to be in the area, I would definitely recommend them staying here. Even if it is out of your way, make sure you plan for some time at this lovely place and people. They will shower you with an experience you will cherish forever.

Yes, I keep returning. Charming, beautifully decorated, historic, and about $8 per night more than a square-box hotel room. It does not have to be a speacial occasion or romantic getaway. If you're overnighting in Ft Scott, KS, you owe it to yourself to check this place out.

We loved the pictures of the rooms we saw on the Lyons Twin Mansions website, so chose to use a BnB gift certificate on a night there. We very much enjoyed our stay! Mrs. Pat was very welcoming and personable, our room was delightful, lending itself to a wonderfully relaxing and rejuvenating time. Thanks so much, Lyons Twin Mansions!

I would strongly say this was one of the best places I have ever stayed. Best customer service and I am one to critize if needed. The room, Preecia's hideway, was outstanding. Comfort and romantic. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the room which included a 2 person jetted tub, a big roung couch (prefect for couples) and very comfortable king bed,the 2 hour spa massage didn't hurt either. The town was wasw friendly and interesting. Resturants were difficult to find a place that would please us but the local BBQ was fantastic, this coming from a native KC resident. Breakfast was tasty and very filling. On a whole I would say call Miss Pat today and get your room for a nice relaxing getaway and see why I came back so happy.

I booked a girls night out here. Miss Pat was amazing at helping me set up the rooms and a fabulous spa package. All of us had a stupendous time. The rooms were to die for - and the food was fabulous! Then I cannot say enough words to credit the entire luxurious atmosphere and amazing staff.
