An elegant Victorian Inn located on the village green in Chester, where you’ll find great restaurants and fascinating shops. We have seven romantic guest rooms and suites all with Queen or King bed and furnished with beautiful antiques. Each room has its own charm and unique features: some have feather beds, cable TV,CD, DVD, private deck and working fireplaces. All have private bathrooms, (some larger than most B & B bedrooms!!!) with quality toiletries, fluffy towels and guest robes.
We give you a choice of claw foot tubs, huge double stall showers, soaking tubs or Jacuzzis made for two. Enjoy gourmet breakfasts (our specialty!) often by candle light, with English antique bone china, crystal glass and silver table ware. We serve afternoon tea with non stop home baked goods. We can arrange dinner or light supper (by prior request). But best of all is the warm and genuine “Royal” welcome to your “Palace” in Vermont.

Cancellation Policy:

1. Cancellations must be made by speaking with us in person or via an acknowledged e-mail. Voice mail (answering machine) messages do not constitute cancellation confirmation.
2. We will be happy to return your deposit, less a $25.00 administration fee, if you provide more than 7 days notice of your cancellation.
3. Within 7 days, and up to 48 hours before your arrival date, we will refund your deposit, less a $25.00 service charge, if we can fill the room that we have reserved for you if the room cannot be sold you are responsible for one nights charge.
4. A charge of minimum one night or half your reserved nights is required if less than 48-hour notice

We cater predominantly to couples in search of a peaceful, romantic getaway, and have many beautiful (and fragile!!) antiques, and therefore Inn Victoria is not really a suitable environment for young children. However responsible children over the age of 14 are welcome in the Princess Victoria Suite. We can of course suggest alternate good quality B&Bs in Chester that are more family oriented.
