The Rosemont! The Ohio River flows majestically in front of her beautifully etched glass and oak entry doors. The four seasons and the panoramic views offered by this unique historic Inn will transport you to a time when life moved with the pace of the river.

Rosemont's Front Porch
The wooden swing, glider and rocking chairs make the front porch a great place to spend an afternoon. The Ohio River adjoins the property providing hours of daylight enjoyment for our guests. In the evening, the front porch is enlivened by conversation highlighted by hors d'oeuvres and refreshments. In the cloak of darkness river traffic creates a palette of light passing on water.

Rosemont's Front Parlor
The original chandelier from 1881 still graces this front parlor. The soft leather loveseats invite you to sink into their comfort with a book, magazine or listen to one of the antique records on the working Victrola. Relax, as you warm yourself in front of the handpainted fireplace.

Dining At Rosemont
At Rosemont its all about the cuisine and your enjoyment. In addition to a delicious breakfast each morning of your stay the Inn offers gourmet five to seven course dinner menus for those guests wishing to have a fine dining experience.

All natural body lotion, body spray and soaps are made especially for Rosemont by an Indiana based company. One of these spa kits and a luxurious terry robe embroidered with the Rosemont name are included as part of our Spa Package.

Pemberton Room
A beautifully restored bedroom that is highlighted by crown molding, wide heart of pine floors, antique furniture and museum quality artwork. A four poster king size bed situated next to the working 1881 hand-painted fireplace sets the tone of ambiance. A private bathroom off this room contains a whirlpool bathtub that enjoys filtered light through an original stained glass window.

James K Pleasants Room
Awake in the morning with an expansive view of the Ohio River out of your bedroom windows. This room features morning sunlight muted through an ancient flowering Tulip Poplar Tree thought to be one of the largest in Indiana. This room contains a king size four poster bed within a few feet of a beautiful hand-painted working fireplace. One of the highlights of this room is its beautiful persian rug and comfortable antique wingback chairs that welcome you to enjoy the river views. The period wallpaper adds warmth and ambiance to this room. There is a private bathroom containing a shower.

The Charlotte Pleasants Room
From the moment you enter this room you will feel transported back in time. The centerpiece of this historic room is its remarkable four poster queen size canopy bed which overlooks the Ohio River through two walk out windows which connect to a second story private porch affording a panoramic view of the sloping lawn as it meets the river. The room has unexcelled views and filtered light from an ancient 100 foot tall Maple tree. This room contains period wallpaper, a working fireplace and a hand-painted 1890's working chandelier. There is a private bath with shower.

The Oliver Pleasants Room
The warmth of this room is immediately apparent with its old world paintings, burgundy velvet wingback chairs, and a persian carpet which highlights the highly polished heart of pine floor. A comfortable king size bed completes this ensemble which faces the working hand-painted fireplace. This room contains a private bath with shower

The Annie Pleasants Room
A charming room featuring an iron queen size canopy bed enveloped in sheer bed curtains. Antique portraits and landscape paintings adorn the walls and complement the working fireplace and garden view. This room also has its own private bathroom with shower.
