It felt like coming home to Mom's again. Hospitality was a 5 star. Excellent display of food, and the food was fabulous. This Bed-n-Breakfast is the best one I have stayed at. Looking forward to a return again next year. |

If you love victorian architecture and decorating, this is the inn for you. The collections in each room bring back the atmosphere and warmth of the victorian era.
The breakfast quiche was the creamiest and best I've ever tasted. The food was presented very beautifully and it was abundant.
My husband and I were delighted with every aspect of our stay at the Solomon Mier Manor!
YAHUWEH BLESS YOU :) |

It was a great B & B, beautiful old home in the Amish area of Indiana, close to Shipshewana, great big breakfasts served in the dining room, sitting room with plenty of books, games and a TV to watch. The owners are very friendly and very helpful to find anything in the area to do also. |

What a delightful place to stay!! the Inn is full of "eye candy." Everywhere you look, you find treasures. Ron and Doris are wonderful hosts. The house, a beautiful old Victorian, is an absolute treasure. My co-workere and I stayed and we really felt like family. I will look forward to another visit if I am in the area. The Innkeepers were very accomodating to our work schedules....our stay was, in a word, delightful! |

Ron was very knowledgeable about his home. He could not have been nicer He went out of his way to make breakfast early enought for us. We had a full day planed and he was waiting for us at 7am for breakfast just like he said he would. The home is 15 min. away from shipshawana, and close to everything else we wanted to do. Ron makes the best lemonaid! Sorry to say we did not meet Doris she was away. You won't go wrong spending a night in this home. |

The "Manor" is a lovely place to stay. The house and the furninshings are so interesting. The hosts are very gracious and made us feel very comfortable. I highly recommend this B&B - especially to those who like to visit the northern Indiana region. The rates at the Solomon Mier Manor are actually less expensive than many of the hotels in the area that we looked into. It's a great place! |

Ron and Doris Blue are absolutely the most gracious hosts in the business. You can't really enjoy all the little odds and ends that they have displayed unless you stay more than 2 or 3 nights. It's like going back in time. The breakfasts are all first class. I would say that you have to stay there, because words can't describe the beauty of the Mansion. And the price is such that we always stay there when we are in the area. |

Our stay at Solomon Mier Manor was just superb. We are very busy individuals and the wonderful, beautiful, and relaxing stay at this beautiful B & B was most enjoyable and appreciated. We loved our treats each evening before retiring. The breakfast was outstanding! This is a great place to stay! You are not too far from Auburn, IN if you are an old car buff. If you want to partake in the Amish country, you are very close to that area also. We have already booked our room for next Labor Day weekend! Thanks. |

Ron and Doris are always so nice! Doris always has a cool beverage available - Ron knows the area well and is our guide for sightseeing. We have stayed here 3 times and each stay was a very pleasant experience! They pay attention to detail - cookies/brownies in the room, yum! Everything is always nice and clean - and the house is so interesting. We enjoy looking at all the collectibles. Breakfast is fantastic - I don't need to go on. Stay here if you're in the area! |

It was the true experience that a bed and breakfast should be. The house has character, history, and LOTS of eye candy. Everywhere you looked, there was some trinket or item from the early 1900s. The rooms are huge, the neighborhood is charming, and the inn-keepers couldn't have been more cordial and pleasant. This will not be the last time I stay at the Solomon Mier Manor. |

An amazing and superb mid-western manse with a history included. It's hard to believe that a place
like Solomon Mier still exists in this day and age in such a locale. And if the ambiance wasn't enough, Ron and Doris
treat you better than family. |

This beautifully maintained mansion near the lakes and Amish country of northern Indiana is a truly exceptional B&B, better than any I've visited throughout New England. The high-ceilinged guest rooms are spacious, comfortable, and furnished with lovely antiques and collectibles. The three common areas, the dining room, and the large porch provide plenty of additional space for relaxing in the presence of muraled ceilings, stained glass windows, inlaid hardwood floors, tiled fireplaces, gorgeous woodwork, and more antique furnishings. Ron and Doris Blue are pleasant, accommodating hosts who clearly enjoy their roles. And I can't say enough about Doris' hearty and tasty breakfasts! The town of Ligonier is not a destination in its own right, but away from the main highway, it's very pretty. Along its wide, tree-lined streets are many other beautiful homes from the early 1990's, and only three blocks or so from the mansion is a large, lovely multi-purpose park, complete with jogging trail, that is remarkable for a town its size. |
