Welcome to the Country Charm Bed and Breakfast. We are located in Shelbyville, Illinois at the southern tip of beautiful Lake Shelbyville, and what a treasure this "Main Street Americana" is!
Our delightful historic colonial was built in 1858 and it is rumored that Abraham Lincoln often visited the original owners during his days as a circuit lawyer. We are located on a half-acre parcel that boasts beautiful views of our charming orchard.
Shelbyville offers an excellent selection of restaurants all within three miles of the Inn. Within close proximity of Shelbyville is the Amish community of Arthur, with master craftsmen, bakers and seamstress. If you are interested in theater, the Town of Sullivan offers multiple plays throughout the year.
Only three miles away awaits Shelbyville Lake. Boating and fishing, or hiking and golfing - you can find it all here! The Country Charm Inn has ample parking for your boats or RV's. |
