Three Roses Bed and Breakfast is a lovely 1890 inn located in the small town of Pontiac, Illinois with a population of around 12,000. We are 35 miles from Bloomington/Normal, 100 miles from Springfield, 100 miles from Chicago, 200 miles from St. Louis, 150 miles from the Quad Cities, and 195 miles from Indianapolis.
We are known for our breakfasts cooked to order and prepared homemade from scratch and our very comfortable beds. Guests can choose from 4 beautiful guest rooms. We never take more than 2 couples at a time unless it is a family or group, so it is very quiet at Three Roses. All rooms are on the 2nd floor.
There is much to see and do in Pontiac such as the Route 66 Hall of Fame & Museum, the Livingston County War Museum and Dal Estes Education Center, Three Swinging Bridges over the Vermilion River, The Yost House, The Jones House, Humiston Woods Nature Center, The Mural Tour, "Looking for Lincoln" exhibits, International Walldog Museum, Route 66 - A Photo Journey, and the Historic Pontiac Courthouse - all of which are free.
Pontiac boasts an ever growing business community with shops that will delight most everyone - from coin collecting to collecting antiques and a pretty good selection of restaurants. From Spring until late Fall, there is something going on in or around Pontiac from wonderful plays in the Chattaqua Park Pavillion to the many car shows hosted in Pontiac every summer. Pontiac is on the Amtrak route and free transporatation is provided from and to the depot for our guests. We will also pick up guests at the Peoria Charter Bus stop in Pontiac at no charge.

It was my first time at a Bed and Breakfast and I had taken my boyfriend which was a surprise for him. It was the most exciting and wonderful time I have had. The service was outstanding and the place was beautiful. Sharon was wonderful. She had made my stay very very relaxing and was very very kind and a very good cook. I would recommend if your in the area to look her up. I will return because my stay was warm and comfortable.

We needed a last minute place to stay and Sharon accomodated us with a very nicely decorated, clean and comfortable room and bathroom with a jacuzzi jet bathtub. She made us breakfast with items we chose and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Three Roses Bed & Breakfast!

Loved the gluten-free muffins! Room and nearby bathroom were comfortable and well-appointed, and there was quite an array of bath products in the bathroom and of small creature comforts in the bedroom, such as a coffeepot, a small refrigerator big enough to house a bottle of wine and leftovers from dinner, and cut-crystal glasses to hold ice water. We arrived a bit earlier than we had thought but were well cared for from minute one. Wish I had not gotten sick the day before so that I could have enjoyed the breakfast more.

A comfortable bed and an excellent breakfast. The layout of the guest rooms is conducive to privacy, with a door dividing the rooms in the front of the house from those in the back. Breakfast was delicious (and enormous!) -- and a treat to have gluten-free food without having to make special arrangements.

Three Roses is warm, comfortable, homey yet elegant. Fabulous breakfast. Great location near the center of town and Amtrak. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful with suggestions about local dining and activities. I'll be back!

Wonderful in all respects. A charming home and wonderful hospitality. Sharon is an outstanding cook. Supper is available as an option. Breakfasts are terrific -- you order a couple of days before arriving. The only thing better than breakfast was supper!

We were travelling Route 66 and found Three Roses B&B by chance as it was very late when we pulled into Pontiac. This was our lucky day as Sharon had a room and was so welcoming. She made us a cup of tea and provided freshly baked muffins. Her B&B is such a credit to her - we loved it so much that we stayed 2 nights. Everything about it is top quality and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting accommodation in Pontiac. Sharon goes out of her way to make you feel at home and her cooking is sensational. Sharon is such a beautiful host that you don't want to leave. We found Pontiac a beautiful town with lots to see and beautiful people and hope to get back one day. Thanks Sharon. We have told our friends travelling the Route to pay a visit. Gay & Mark from Australia.

This is the quintessential bed and breakfast...beautiful home, friendly & warm proprietor and WONDERFUL breakfast. That being said, this b&b superpassed our expectations in every catagory...especially the breakfast! Sharon lets YOU decide what you want for breakfast, then prepares every choice from scratch. The fresh squeezed orange juice, gluten free (that tastes great) blueberry muffin through to the delious coffee were all perfect and will give you something to look forward to on your next visit.

The bedroom and the separate bathroom both were huge. The bathroom was not shared with anyone else, which was nice. The breakfast was delicious and was large enough that we didn't eat lunch that day. Sharon the hostess was very friendly and very accommodating to all of our needs and desires. My children loved staying here as much as I did. They especially liked playing with the friendly Yorkie dogs. We would definitely come again if ever in the area. This is a great place to stay if you are touring Route 66 as it is just two short blocks to the Route 66 Museum in Pontiac.
