Named after the second wife of Lewis Steward and the mother of his children, this room provides a quiet area for reading or conversation.

Added to the main house originally as a glass conservatory, this room contains a collection of books left by all of the previous owners, plus we have added a few of our own!

Breakfast is always served in this elegant room which has been featured in several national magazine ads for the HVAC firm, Unico Systems, be sure to ask us how it works! Note that we use the house as a show house for our interior decorating business and all the furnishings change from time to time; thus the table, chairs and even the artwork on the walls in this room have already been sold!

We did a complete renovation to the 1950's kitchen that was in the house when we purchased it. Changing it from white metal cabinets to the more appropriate period style cabinetry from Crown Point Cabinetry. Ask us how you too can have a Crown Point kitchen in your home!

Labyrinth
Added to our 2-acre site along with a yew hedge maze in 2004, this labyrinth is ideal for a contemplative walk to gather one's thoughts or reflect on one's life. It is also the perfect setting for outdoor weddings-in-the-round.

In 2006 we will be adding bicycles for the use of our guests. Ranging from the Town Breezer Bicycles to the Danish designed Pedersen bicycle. Inquire when you book your stay.

Harvester Red Suite: Bedroom
The Harvester Red Suite is made up of the bedroom, the private bath featuring a large ball-foot bathtub from France, and a private sitting room with it's own TV and DVD player. A luxurious queen Royal-Pedic mattress lets you unwind and drift off to dream of the morning.

The Marsh Green room features a Royal-Pedic queen bed and in-room pedestal sink imported from Italy. You can combine this room with the Deering Blue to create the Partners' Suite and share your shower/toilet room with someone you know!

The Deering Blue room features a queen-size bed and beautifully stencilled walls by the staff of Langguth Design. This room features a queen Royal-Pedic mattress, handpainted walls, and a half-bath in the original closet space. Guests booking this room have the private use of the blue & white hall bath located just a few steps away. The hall bath features an antique ball and claw bathtub and a toilet which is a conversation piece!

The Julian Gold provides sleeping on a firm Royal-Pedic All-Cotton extra-long twin bed. Guests in the Hollister Peach and Julian Gold share the hall bath, thus the Julian Gold is available on as an add-on room.
