The Irish Inn

The Irish Inn is nestled in the heart of the National Forest a great retreat away from it all. The drive from the interstate started the sense of getting away and was re-emphasized by the welcome from the Innkeepers. The Inn was amazing for the sense of relaxation while there including awesome conversations. While the stay was great the adventure of exploring Southern Illinois through the forest and small towns made the Irish Inn a destination I will return to.

Cozy, out-of-the-way, in the beautiful woods. Proprietors go out of their way to make sure you're satisfied. Fun to get married there, fun just to stay there!

We've stayed at the Irish Inn numerous times and recommended it to many grateful friends. Exquisite, hearty, perfect Irish breakfast. Clean, beautiful, comfort. Intelligent, thoughtful, fun hosts who are fascinating conversationalists, yet know how to leave you in peace. And our dog can come too! It's perfect.

The Irish Inn is amazing and beautiful and you can't beat the company of the owners Lynn and Brian. However, the best part of the Irish Inn is the Irsh Breakfast served every morning! It is awesome! We were married at the Irish Inn and went to Ireland for the honeymoon and the Irish Inn breakfasts beat out any we had while in Ireland! Lynn and Brian make you feel at home in their beautiful log cabin style B&B. I would recommend the Irish Inn to anyone and everyone!

My husband and I had a magical holiday at the Irish Inn. The area is stunning, the proprietors warm and friendly and did things that were way beyond abything we had a right to expect.
And I can confirm, coming from Ireland, that the breakfasts lived up to their promise.
We look forward to returning in the very near future.

I have been a guest at The Irish Inn on several occasions. I have attended parties, held my own there, and been an overnight guest. Every time we are there, we enjoy the Irish hospitality, excellent accommodations, beautiful wilderness setting, and fun of The Irish Inn. It is my home away from home.
