An inviting wrap-around porch welcomes you to the entry where you will be received into the grand foyer showcasing the original staircase. Beautiful music wafting from the baby grand player piano may draw you into the front parlor before you climb the stairs to find your beautifully appointed guest suite on the second floor. Each unique suite features a fireplace, a full private bath en suite (attached) and a private sitting room (attached).

Strong architectural details include a stunning Victorian carved staircase, five distinctly different tiled fireplaces, pocket doors, natural wood floors and stunning chandeliers in every room.

Baby Grand Player Piano
Music lovers will enjoy playing or listening to the baby grand player piano in the front parlor. Visiting families have even been known to use it for karaoke!

Serenity on State
Serenity on State, with its beautiful view of historic State Street, offers a magnificent queen four-poster bed sitting high off the floor and triple-sheeted with luxury linens. Your private sitting room offers great seating for reading and relaxing. Each suite offers its own unique style and ambiance. Furnishings are both elegant and comfortable. Plush bathrobes are available for our guests. Every suite has a full private bath en suite and offers wireless internet access and satellite television. In addition, guests have full access to the 24-hour coffee/tea bar and snacks, formal dining room, front parlor featuring a baby grand player piano and the library where you’ll find a large flat-screen television, books, CDs and DVDs, a video telephone, a large work desk and a basic business center.

Welcome to our Tranquility Suite, a spacious suite with a feather-topped king sized bed, electric fireplace and a fabulous marble spa bathroom. Open the door to your own private haven! Ideal for special celebrations and romantic weekends, we’ll be happy to serve your full gourmet breakfast to your door on silver trays. A private sitting room, accessible only through your suite, provides additional space for privacy and relaxation. Luxury in-room indulgences may be ordered in advance of your stay, including roses or other fresh flowers, spa services (available on site), gift baskets, gourmet chocolates or other special amenities you would like to purchase for delivery to your room during your stay. Spa services are available by prior arrangement in the privacy of your own suite.
