This handsome Italianate-style building inn was a favorite overnight stop for area farmers bringing goods to market, as well as a gathering place for local folk. This structure in Galena, Illinois remains one of the Midwest's premier examples of 19th-century commercial vernacular architecture.

Relax in one of our many sitting areas or soak in the whirlpool tub while staying in one of our suites. We pay attention to the details, so you can enjoy your stay and make our house your home. You can relax and read in our heritage library, listen to music or watch a movie in our living room and meet the other guests in our dining room during wine and cheese at 5:30pm. |
