The Parkside Bed and Breakfast is located within walking distance of downtown DeKalb, for shopping and dining. NIU's campus is just one mile from our home.
The cottage is newly refurbished in a modern and contemporary style with many luxurious amenities that offer travelers a comfortable, enjoyable, and restful stay. With a fully outfitted kitchenette, the Parkside is a perfect place for visiting parents, extended stay business travelers as well as the couple who wants to get away from their busy schedules.
Area dining includes a exceptional Thai cuisine,Sushi, authentic Mexican and Chinese, elegant American fare as well as steakhouses, local pubs, nightclubs, and day spas all located within minutes of The Parkside Bed and Breakfast.
Northern Illinois University offers many concerts and theatrical productions, as well as athletic events and a variety of events at the Convocation Center. There are also local theater productions offered throughout the year.

Cancellation Policy: |
As we are a small inn, and we count on every reservation, we must schedule arrivals and departures carefully. We hope you understand our need for ample notice of cancellation. We will be happy to give a full refund, less a $25.00 booking fee if we receive at least two weeks prior to the date we expect you of your cancellation. If you must cancel less than two weeks away for ANY reason you will be refunded only for the portion of your stay we are able to rebook. NO EXCEPTIONS. |
