The Blue Heron Inn Bed & Breakfast, located on the banks of the South Fork in Idaho, specializes in old fashioned Western hospitality! This beautiful bed and breakfast inn provides a relaxing atmosphere and seven unique rooms, each with private bath. The guest rooms are furnished with king, queen or twin beds making The Blue Heron either a great romantic getaway or a fun girlfriend’s getaway. Rooms include TV, with VCR’s, cozy robes and breathtaking river views.

The Inn is centrally located between Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Sun Valley, Idaho are an easy drive from the inn. The Blue Heron Inn provides elegantly prepared breakfasts and is the perfect setting for romantic getaways, intimate weddings, or executive retreats. We host intimate weddings, business retreats, family and group gatherings. Check In Policy:
Check in time is from 3:00 - 6:00 pm. Please advise us if you are unable to arrive during these hours.
Check Out Policy:
Check out time is 11:00 am. Exceptions must be pre-arranged.
Cancellation Policy:
The deposit becomes nonrefundable if the reservation is canceled within 7 days of your scheduled arrival date.
Children: Children ages 12+
The inn backs up to the South Fork of the Snake River. The river runs swift and deep and is dangerous for young children.
Childcare: No
Deposit Policy:
Please make reservations in advance whenever possible. A deposit equivalent to one night’s stay or half of the reserved nights is required to reserve a room. The deposit can be secured by credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards, but would prefer payment with a personal check or cash at the time of check in.
Pets Welcome
Pets are allowed by pre-arrangement only and only in the Carriage House Room which is located in a building nearby the main lodge. Guests with pets must sign a pet policy as well as pay a $10.00 fee for each pet.
Pets Living At Inn: Yes
The Innkeepers have cats, but they are not allowed into the main lodge.

Smoking is only allowed outside the inn.
