Historic Wapiti Meadow Ranch bed and breakfast located in Cascade, ID is a great place for an outdoors getaway offering fly fishing, kayaking, mountain biking and hiking. The ranch also hosts fly fishing lessons where guests can learn from our guides who use their years of experience to make your vacation safe and successful.
In addition to the fine 'hearty gourmet' breakfast and complete picnic lunch included in the B&B package, the Wapiti Meadow chef of long-standing is now serving dinners at the cafe in Yellow Pine, just 9 miles down the valley and readily accessible from the ranch.
Guests can relax after a long day in either our Idaho luxury lodging, cabins or fly fishing guest ranch. Enjoy the stunning views of the Salmon River Mountains that surround this valley. The ranch offers upscale amenities in our lodging, cabins, and dining.
Known for exceptional cutthroat fly fishing, the ranch sits astride Johnson Creek, a tributary to the South Fork of the Salmon River system. There are 50 plus miles of fine trout stream fishing immediately on and adjacent to the ranch, just a step outside guests' private cabins. In addition, the ranch supports a trout pond for casting practice and youngsters' pleasure.
Scenic hiking and biking trails lead out of the ranch and begin at spots adjacent to the ranch. Horse facilities can be made available to guests who wish to bring their own mounts and pack strings to ride the hundreds of miles of wilderness trails adjacent to the ranch. |
