The Orchid Inn bed & breakfast is located on the slope of an ancient volcano overlooking Kauila-Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii where you can sit quietly and just gaze out at the emerald Pacific Ocean. This location in Holualoa is perfect to travel either north toward Waimea, Hilo or the Kohala coast. Or south towards Kealakekua Bay, Honaunau and around the southern tip of the island on up to Volcano National Park and Kiluea volcano. If it’s the excitement and activities of Kona you desire, it’s but a 15 minute drive down the hill allowing you to return easily and quickly back to the peace & quiet of your lodging.
