The Veranda Historic Bed and Breakfast Inn |

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Veranda Historic Bed & Breakfast was built in 1906 as the Holberg Hotel in Senoia, Georgia. The 8,000 square foot inn features lovely Georgia heart pine floors, ornate tin ceilings in several public rooms, original light fixtures and chandeliers in most rooms. The inn features many antiques including an original claw foot tub in one room. There are eleven fireplaces with original metal covers. All rooms have central heating and air. The inn has had many notable guests in its rich history including Margaret Mitchell and William Jennings Bryan. The inn is located one block from historic Main Street in Senoia.
Senoia has over 113 homes and historic places on the National Historic Register. Several movies were filmed in Senoia's Riverwood Studio including "Fried Green Tomatoes", Driving Miss Daisy", "The War", "and Pet Cemetery" (filmed in the historic cemetery). Callaway Gardens and the Little White house are only 30 miles away. The Veranda Inn Gallery features local artists, photography and hand crafted recycled jewelry by Kristen Davis. The gallery is open Monday through Saturday' and Sundays by appointment.
