Walk through the front doors of at Sarah’s Garden Bed & Breakfast in Savannah, Georgia and appreciate the beautiful 118-year-old mosaic tiled floor, which has been preserved along with the natural woodwork and elegant stairway. Discover the charm and elegance of this intimate bed and breakfast located on one of the most scenic streets in Savannah's historic district.
We have tried to preserve the history of the past and filled our bed and breakfast with a number of antiques to give you the feel of the days gone by. The inn has 12 fireplaces, several parlors and porches, and a beautiful bricked courtyard and garden, so just relax and let yourself be pampered.
Sit by the fire and start your day off right with a wonderful variety of breakfast foods. Experience true B&B hospitality in our kitchen, which seems to be a popular spot for the majority of our guests – whether it’s for an early cup of coffee or a little lingering after breakfast.

My friend recently wed in the gazebo in Whitfield Square and had us, the wedding party & out of town relatives stay at the beautiful Amethyst Inn. It was perfect! We were two houses away from the square and our hosts, Jane & Rocky Reed, were awesome. The food, which was cooked by gourmet Jane, was beyond delicious and the cocktail party out by the pool was simply enchanting. The rooms look like something out of a magazine and are filled with real top of the line antiques. And the mansion itself is fabulous. Definitely, do yourself a favor and stay at this Inn...you'll love it!

The Amethyst Inn is located in Savannah's historic district and within walking distance of museums, restaurants and historic homes and gardens. It has been beautifully restored and is very well maintained. The Innkeepers serve a home made breakfast entree (a different one for each of our 5 breakfasts - no repeats) daily. In the afternoon, home made hors d'oeuvres are offered along with wine. It was certainly a relaxing way to meet fellow guests and discuss daily activities. Innkeepers Rocky and Jane were knowledgeable about the area, made suggestions for sightseeing, and local restaurants for dining. They also made dinner reservations. We enjoyed meeting them and our stay, and look forward to a future visit.
