Chanticleer Inn Main House At just over 1,800 feet above sea level, the Chanticleer Inn sits with distinction high atop Lookout Mountain on a beautiful plateau that borders Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama. The mountain offers plenty of wonderfully romantic views of Chattanooga valley and surrounding areas. Our family owned and operated Inn is conveniently located directly across the street from the famous Rock City Gardens where visitors can see seven states. We are also mere minutes from Ruby Falls, Incline Railway and Point Park. For the adventurous, there are numerous local nature trails and historical parks for hiking and biking.

Chanticleer Inn Main Living Area Originally constructed with local mountain stone in the 1930s, Chanticleer Inn looks the same on the outside but is very different on the inside today. Our 17 rooms within the Inn and the surrounding 5 buildings were completely renovated and remodeled in 2002. The Innkeepers, Rob & Audrey Hart, will greet you with a friendly smile and serve you a wonderful full hot breakfast.
