My friend & I planned a spur of the moment trip to West Palm Beach last month. When we visited the discount travel sites, we had very few reasonably priced options - airports near the airport, or incredibly pricey beachside hotels. We found this place by accident on the West Palm Beach tourism/chamber of commerce site & immediately fell in love with it. The property is nestled in a lush tropical garden setting - in the middle of the historic Flamingo district. It's convenient central location makes for an easy drive to the airport, beaches, Wellington and major highways. The main building is a gorgeous historic site, almost hidden in the tropical gardens that add an element of peacefulness & privacy to the property. While there were about 15 properties/units nearby, we very rarely saw or heard other people - something you won't find in a regular hotel. Our cottage was impeccably decorated (love the antiques!) and came with lots of thoughtful special touches & extras, such as free snacks/beverages and toiletries, comfy bathrobes, a gorgeous kitchen w/outdoor grilling area, a washer/dryer unit, wireless and a full bookcase (and dvds, too!)! A private terrace gave my smoking friend easy access to the outdoors - so she didn't have to get dressed upand walk through a large hotel to get access to a smoking space... and could just pop outside for a quick puff instead. While West Palm suffers the same zoning challenges as other Florida cities, the neighborhood is very safe, friendly, quiet and features lots of charming Craftsman cottages. The pool/jacuzzi was absolutely wonderful - and is every bit as beautiful as pictured on their website. The price couldn't be beat, either! I recommend this property for couples who want to get away from it all, families who like to travel in style on a budget or people who enjoy staying in a roomy upscale environment vs. a small hotel room. At the end of the trip, my friend and I both agreed to come back for a 2 week stay next year, and hopefully bring friends & family with us. BTW, our only challenge was finding the place. A GPS system cannot take you to the exact location (they never do!), so be sure to follow the directions on the website. The entrance to Casa Grandview/1410 Georgia Avenue is across the street from New York Ave. It's easy to drive right by the entrance - and the hidden garden that surrounds this gorgeous property.

Cheryl and Kirk are wonderful hosts. They truly want you to have a great stay and are supremely gracious. The location is fabulous as far as convenience. The neighborhood is mixed with great redos and some just plain rundown houses. All sorts of shopping and entertainment are extremely close. There is an excellent gym within walking distance. The back patio is very shady so not the best if you like to sit in the sun, but we went to the beach almost every day. Great kitchen. Service is clean towels daily as needed. I would prefer daily bathroom cleaning as well.

The Casa Grandview is such a wonderful balance between an intimate Bed and Breakfast feel with total privacy at the same time. Our personal Villa was immaculate and the owners could not have been more accommodating to us with our baby. Every thing in our villa was premium quality and very comfortable. It was also completely stocked with all essentials! It is in a very convenient location to City Place and the park. We will definitely be back and do recommend it.

We went for a weekend getaway and really enjoyed our stay. Casa Grandview is a great place for young people; not to mention its great location on the fringe of downtown West Palm Beach.

Great! Great!!! Great!!!! My husband and I had such a great time. The people were super nice. We were so close to so many tourist attractions and night life. This is a great place to come to if you need a vacation to get away or to celebrate a romantic getaway. My husband and I went to celebrate our one year anniversary and we had such a fun and romantic time. It is also a great place to come with your whole family like we are currently planning with our families.

This a rare find! It it so charming! It is decorated to a tee & has every amenity you could desire. The salt water pools are a very nice edtion to a relaxing stay. Cheryl is so very nice & accomodating. You have your own kitchen & you order the food you want. The kitchen is stocked when you arrive.I stayed with Cheryl on two seperate trips & loved it each time.
