Kenilworth Lodge

Hotel Main Building
The Kenilworth Lodge has a historic main building with 82 rooms and suites, including the new Jacuzzi Suite (perfect for honeymoons). It was built in 1916 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. There are also 26 cottages and efficiency units around the 80-foot pool, to the East of the main building.

The Pool
Kenilworth Lodge has an 80-foot, Olympic-sized, heated pool. It is bordered by a grassy lawn on one side (ideal for cookouts) and efficiency guest rooms on the other side. The pool-side units are popular with family reunions and golf groups.

Golf, Bicycling, Art & Nature Nearby
The Kenilworth Lodge specializes in golf packages bicyling,nature and arts nearby. There are a choice of 13 championship courses nearby. Most of the courses are within 10 minutes of the lodge. The Kenilworth Lodge is host to 4 major bicycling events each year, which also include rides through Highlands Hammock State Park. Highlands Hammock is one of Florida's original state parks. It has hiking trails, a boardwalk over the Cypress swamp, ranger guided tram tours and Florida's only Civilian Conservation Corp museum. There are a variety of arts & cultural events each year. The Gallery Walk is a once a month event in Sebring's historic district and also the Kenilworth Lodge.

Activities at the Lodge
The Kenilworth has a variety of on-site activities including horseshoe pits, shuffleboard court, billiards room, ping-pong, 80-foot heated swimming pool, lending library, puzzles and card tables. The rockers on the front verandah are a favorite spot for guests to relax and maybe catch a fabulous sunset over Lake Jackson.

Kenilworth Lodge Lobby
The Kenilworth Lodge has a large informal lobby with grand staircase, white columns, large windows and rugs over wooden floors. It is furnished in pre-war rattan. The large brick fireplace is a popular gathering spot in the winter. The grand staircase is a favorite photo spot for guests year-round. There is also a lending library, puzzles and ping pong table for guest entertainment.

Plantation Room Wedding
The Plantation Room, with 3600 sq-ft, is the largest of the banquet rooms. It features tall windows, dressed in floor-length drapes and tapestry valances, on either side of the room. There are white columns and raised wooden floors throughout. The riin gas a stage & wet bar. Accommodates up to 175 with dance floor space, 200 without dance floor.

Victory Chapel
The Victory Chapel is a cozy room with windows on three sides overlookig Lake Jackson. The room is decorated in shades of green and white, accented by rose bunches for a fresh spring atmosphere. It is often used for small weddings, bridal or baby showers and meetings and receptions for 30 - 40 guests. The Victory Chapel adjoins the Plantation Ballroom and has an outside entrance. It can be used in combination with the Plantation Ballroom for a guest count of 240 guests

Governors Room
The Goverors Room is a small conference room that seats 10 guests. It is perfect for small meetings, planning sessions and social dinners for 10 or less guests.

Cabaret Room
The Cabaret Room is a good choice for meetings, seminars, dances and social occasions for 110 guests or less. The room has raised wooden floors, tall ceilings, windows on three sides and a service kitchen.

Welcome
The Kenilworth Lodge is known for group events. Here the lobby is set up for the annual Central Florida Bridal Gala, held on the first Monday of October each year. The Kenilworth was voted "Best for Group Events" by Arrington's Inn Traveler Magazine.

Weddings and Events - Central Florida Bridal Gala
The Plantation Ballroom is a natural location for the Central Florida Bridal Gala. It is also a favorite for weddings, anniversary parties, fundraising events and tradeshows. The Central Florida Bridal Gala offers passed hors 'd oeuvres by wait staff in formal attire.

Fitness Room
State of the art fitness room with LCD TV. You don't have to miss your daily workout! Treadmills, recumbent bike, sit up bench and free weights. For the more intense workout buff, there is a full professional fitness center just 2 miles from the hotel.

Lodge Room
There are over 80 lodge rooms in the main building. Most are furnished with pre-WWII, solid white oak, noveau furniture. Bedding types include kings, twins and doubles. All rooms have refrigerators, wireless internet access & 5 premium movie channels. There are also 2-room suites in the main lodge. The lodge has a guest elevator and 24-hour staff on duty. Listed on the Natinal Historic Register.

Jacuzzi - Honeymoon Suite
The Jacuzzi Suite is our honeymoon suite. Enjoy beautiful sunsets over Lake Jackson from your room in this ene bedroom apartment on the 3rd floor of the main lodge. Full kitchen, dining area, living room and bedrooom, plus deluxe bath with two-person jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower.

Cottage- Inside
There are 10 individual cottages that face a grassy lawn and the pool. The cottages have 2 twin beds 92 have 1 king), mini kitchen and a screened porch.

One Bedroom Apartment
One Bedroom apartments feature a master bedroom with king bed, one bath, living room with queen sleeper sofa, dining area, full kitchen and screened porch. There is parking in front of the unit. These are popular for families, longer vacations and corporate guests on temporary projects.

Pool-Side Efficiency - Inside
There are 10 pool-side efficiencies. Each of 5 buildings has 2 units sharing a screened porch which opens to the pool deck. they have double beds and apt.-sized kitchen facilities. Porches have patio tables for each unit. These are very popular with golfers, reunion and social club groups.
