This was our first time at a B&B and given the experience it will not be the last. Due to it being our first experience we were unsure of quite what to expect. Our experience was way beyond any expectation we might have had. We "checked in" and met Larry and Ellen and were put at ease immediately. We were given the tour and were amazed at not only the beautiful architecture, but at how well it was furnished and decorated. our room was most spacious and uniquely combined the past with all current technologies and amenities that one would need. We were instructed on how the locks to the house worked and left to do with whatever we desired. Not only is the house beautifully decorated and surprisingly spacious, but the lovely manicured and landscaped yards are breathtaking. We sat outside on the covered 2nd story patio and played with one of the three house cats (although this one was allowed outside) while we listened to the tranquility of the fountain on one side of the house and admired the hot tub below. The front porch was more than comfortable as morning coffee with the Sunday paper was shared between my husband and I. Sunday breakfast rivaled any five star restaurant and was served graciously by Larry and Ellen. Larry and Ellen are a pleasant, warm, charming and engaging couple. Conversations with them are easy and pleasant. While most informative, our privacy was well respected. As having no other experience but hotels and timeshare resorts to which compare, I would definitely say that there is no comparison. The B&B experience is by far superior.

The innkeepers had breakfast ready each morning when we asked.. it was a 4 course meal.. very well presented and prepared. The room was always clean. This was the only B&B in the area with an inground hot tub and it was so peaceful! The innkeepers had the hot tub ready with towels for us each night we arrived back from dinner. We took advantage of the bikes and used them one morning which was a nice way to get out and enjoy the area without having the drive. The decor was very nice.. antique if you like this type of decor. I prefer more modern decor but the decor definatly did not take away from my experience!
